Mission Statement
Medical Teams Worldwide is a nonprofit Christian medical relief organization whose goal is to show the love of Jesus Christ to those in need. We facilitate and provide medical relief in the form of supplies, logistic and medical personal for those in need anywhere in the world.
Medical Teams Worldwide provides independent medical teams working on short term anywhere between one to four weeks. The group works, when possible, in concert with other non-medical groups who have targeted a given people group.
Medical Teams Worldwide utilizes; physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses and medical assistants, and non-medical volunteers on our trips. We often donate our left over medical supplies to local health care providers or NGO’s if available.
Policy Statement
Medical Teams Worldwide will not restrict participation by personnel based on religious beliefs.
Medical Teams Worldwide will give assistance to any one regardless of race, color, creed, personal beliefs, or political views.
We will not allow selfinterest to dictate our programs
We will work, when possible, in conjunction with the host governments at the local or national level.
Organization
Medical Teams Worldwide is supported by churches, individuals, groups, grants or other organizations. We are a non-denominational, non-profit religious organization who qualifies under the Internal Revenue Service regulation 501 (C) regulation.
