Haiti Relief:
In 2010 Medical Teams Worldwide sent $6000 worth of medicines, supplies, formula and water filtration for 300 people. We coordinated with Children Of the World, a nonprofit group already operating in Haiti. They have been sending teams down to Haiti every month since the earthquake.
Clinic for Northern Kenya:
Medical Teams Worldwide is in the process of obtaining and filling with medical supplies a portable medical clinic to be placed near the border with Ethiopia in North Eastern Kenya. We have a physician ready to staff the clinic. The area is extremely desolate and has no medical care.
Mosquito Nets for Darfur:
Medical Teams worldwide is accepting donations of $11.00 for one to $110 for 10 mosquito nets for the Children of Darfur. One mosquito net is big enough to cover 2 children. These nets are to be placed in the portable medical clinic before it is to be shipped to Darfur.
Back to Darfur:
In the winter of 2010/2011 MTWW plans to return to Southern Darfur to continue its immunization and medical relief efforts.
