In Sri Lanka, 31,000 died and 550,000 were displaced.

We chose to work the Tamil Tiger regions of Sri Lanka, as those areas were “out of bounds” for traditional relief groups. 3 weeks after the Tsunami, they were still pulling bodies from the water.

The team worked where ever needed, in a building or under some trees.

During the two week trip,1500 people were seen by the team,  water purification tablets for 200,000 liters of water were distributed and  $6,000 of medicines were donated to the local relief effort.
