- Kibera slum where 800,000 people live in a 5 square mile area

- Pastor Victor and His Wife, Lydia, who operate a Children’s Feeding Center and School that helps 100 children a day.

- The team set up operations in this 10 ft. by 20 ft. tin-walled classroom with its dirt floor.

- As soon as the children heard that the team had arrived, they lined up for immunizations

- The doctors saw an average of 100 children and adults a day

- Our area of work was near Kurmuk within SPLA rebel control

- 2 of the 4 tons of food purchased for the Sudanese suffering from starvation

- This large plane that holds 5 tons was chartered to transport the group into Sudan. Here it is at the border in Lokichokio, Kenya.

- One of many typical Sudanese villages, the area was very desolate. The daily temperatures averaged about 120 degrees.

- We chose an old abandoned house that had been used by missionaries in the village of Mayaak for a base camp

- The 2 Tons of Unmix, a nutritious oatmeal used to prevent starvation

- After setting up camp, the team went right to work preparing for our first day of immunizations and medical care.

- Every morning was spent filling 500-800 syringes with vaccine
